# Terms of Service

## 1. Agreement
By installing or using Secure PC Keyboard, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
## 2. Service and acceptable use
The app turns a compatible Android device into an input controller for a computer using Bluetooth HID or the PC companion over a USB/ADB bridge or local network. Your input is delivered to the computer you choose; it does not stay entirely on the phone. You may use the app for lawful personal or business purposes. Do not use it to access a system without authorization, transmit unlawful content, disrupt a service, bypass security, or infringe another person's rights.
## 3. Compatibility and setup
Features depend on device hardware, Android version, permissions, drivers, network configuration, the PC companion and the host operating system. Bluetooth HID support varies by manufacturer. You are responsible for choosing the correct target computer, protecting connection credentials and reviewing text or commands before sending them. Clipboard Sync with PC is enabled by default and can transfer plain text while the companion is connected and the app is in the foreground; turn it off in Keyboard Preferences if unwanted. The voice shortcut sends Windows+H to the PC; the PC's dictation service and microphone settings govern any speech processing. ## 4. Paid services, free tier and Premium subscriptions
A subscription is optional; free keyboard features do not require Premium or referral participation. The free tier may show Google Mobile Ads. When offered, weekly, monthly and annual Premium subscriptions provide the benefits described in the app, including removal of in-app ads while verified access is active.
Provisional illustrative prices in US dollars are:
- **Weekly:** $0.49/week (USD), renewing weekly; no free trial. Billing begins when Google Play completes the purchase.
- **Monthly:** $1.49/month (USD), renewing monthly; a 3-day free trial only for Google Play-eligible new subscribers when that offer is displayed.
- **Annual:** $14.99/year (USD), renewing annually; a 7-day free trial only for Google Play-eligible new subscribers when that offer is displayed.
These prices are examples, not finalized regional prices or guaranteed offers. The **actual localized price, currency, taxes, billing period, trial eligibility and renewal terms displayed by Google Play before confirmation control**. Google Play determines eligibility, including previous trial or subscription use. No trial applies unless Play shows it for your purchase; without a trial, billing begins when the purchase completes. An eligible trial converts automatically to the displayed monthly or annual paid plan unless cancelled before it ends; subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Plans that are loading, unavailable or coming soon cannot be purchased from that screen.
To cancel, open **Google Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Secure PC Keyboard → Cancel subscription** and confirm, or visit https://play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions with the purchasing account. **To help avoid the next charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends or the next renewal.** This is advance-planning guidance; Play's displayed dates, deadlines and billing terms control. Cancellation normally preserves access already paid for through its expiry; the Play cancellation screen explains trial access. Uninstalling, deleting data or earning referral rewards does not cancel billing.
No separate CIBRU account, email registration or app sign-in is required to use the keyboard or purchase subscriptions. Google Play uses your Play Store account. Unless purchase syncing is paused, the app can automatically check existing Play purchases and revalidate completed purchases when it starts or resumes. Use **Restore Purchases** with the purchasing account to restore eligible purchases without buying again. Internet access and successful server verification are required; pending payments do not grant Premium. Expired, on-hold, paused or revoked subscriptions do not provide active paid access. A cancelled plan or a Play-reported grace period can retain access until its verified expiry. Verified paid offline access lasts up to 72 hours after verification, never beyond verified expiry; a restart or invalidated cache can require an earlier online check. Loss of verified access does not cancel billing.
Confirming purchase-verification deletion persistently pauses automatic purchase syncing on that installation and removes local paid access even if server deletion fails. Reopening the app or attempting a new purchase does not resume it; **Restore Purchases** explicitly resumes syncing and can recreate eligible verification records. Clearing storage or reinstalling resets local pause choices; Clear cache alone does not. Deletion does not cancel a subscription or automatically refund a charge. See Purchase Data Deletion.
Google may consider a refund within 48 hours of a purchase, but **approval is not guaranteed**. Use the Google Play refund request process; after 48 hours or if directed to the developer, email support@cibru.in with your Google Play order number, purchase date and reason. ## 5. Optional referral rewards
Referral rewards are free to join, optional and disabled by default. Read the notice and choose the explicit enable/consent action on the rewards screen to create or reconnect an anonymous online profile and allow automatic syncing. Merely opening or dismissing the screen does not enroll you or resume paused sync. Your choice is saved on that installation. The Unsync page opens an in-app confirmation to turn sync off; it does not change settings merely by being viewed. Optional referral processing uses Supabase, Google Play Install Referrer and Google Play Integrity as explained in the Privacy Policy.
A valid, eligible Google Play installation through your link can count toward rewards in Secure PC Keyboard only after the invited user opts into referral processing and the server verifies registration. Sharing or clicking a link alone earns nothing. Duplicate installations, self-referrals and ineligible or unverifiable installations do not qualify. Do not use fabricated installations, automated claims or deceptive sharing. A referral code is shareable, not a password or proof of ownership. Server verification determines credit and expiry.
The reward schedule adds 30 days at 3 credited referrals, another 30 days at 5, 120 days at 10, 185 days at 15, and **36,500 additional days at 100** (the promotional “Lifetime Premium” milestone). The cumulative grants across all milestones total 36,865 days, not unlimited time or a guarantee of the user's lifetime. Each milestone is awarded once per eligible profile. Added time starts at the later of the current reward expiry or the award time; the verified expiry shown in the app governs remaining access.
An active verified referral reward provides Premium access, including removal of in-app ads, while valid. Either a valid paid subscription or a valid referral reward can provide access independently. Referral rewards have no cash value, are not transferable between apps or profiles, and cannot be restored through Google Play purchases. Reinstalling, clearing storage or changing devices may lose the anonymous profile. Turning off sync persistently stops local referral access until you explicitly enable or resume it; the session and installation-attribution records are retained for continuity and deletion requests. Deleting the server profile removes its rewards. Reopening the rewards screen is not consent to resume. Online revalidation is required periodically and after a device restart; offline referral access lasts at most 24 hours after sync and never beyond reward expiry. Rewards do not pause, extend or refund overlapping paid subscriptions or trials. See referral deletion instructions.
## 6. Updates and changes
We may update, add, restrict, or discontinue features to improve security, comply with law, or maintain the service. Material changes to paid benefits will be handled in accordance with Google Play rules and applicable law. We may update these terms by posting a revised version with a new effective date.
## 7. Third-party services
The app integrates Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads, Google's User Messaging Platform, Google Play Install Referrer and Play Integrity. Optional online purchase verification and referral features use a Supabase-hosted backend. Availability depends on configuration, eligibility and service operation. These providers process relevant data under their own terms and privacy policies. The PC companion may require separate installation, drivers and network or firewall configuration.
## 8. Disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and companion software are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not promise uninterrupted operation, universal device compatibility, or that the app will meet every requirement. Nothing in these terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
## 9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or access arising from use of the app. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited by law.
## 10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the app at any time. We may suspend access to online or paid features when reasonably necessary for fraud prevention, security, legal compliance, or a material breach of these terms. Subscription rights and remedies remain subject to Google Play rules and applicable law.
