# Terms and Conditions

## 1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using **Mic to Headphone**, you agree to these Terms of Service. The application is developed, owned, and published by CIBRU. If you disagree, do not use the application.
## 2. Intended Use & Hearing Safety Warnings
**Hearing Health Advisory:** Live microphone monitoring can generate sudden high sound pressure levels and loud audio bursts. Listening at excessive volume can cause permanent hearing impairment or tinnitus.
- **Mandatory Safety Protocol:** Always plug in your headphones and ensure the software gain / monitor slider is set to a low level before tapping "Start". Gradually increase volume to a comfortable listening level.
- **Acoustic Feedback Protection:** The app excludes phone speakers from eligible monitoring outputs and attempts to mute and stop when it detects route loss. Android routing and device-specific delays mean a zero-sample speaker leak or instantaneous stop cannot be guaranteed. Never hold an active microphone capsule directly against headphone drivers.
- **Limitation of Liability:** CIBRU bears no liability for hearing damage, acoustic shock, tinnitus, or hardware failure resulting from misuse.
## 3. Medical Device & Hearing Aid Disclaimer
**MIC TO HEADPHONE IS NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE AND NOT A HEARING AID.** The app is an audio pass-through utility for musicians, performers, and audio inspection. It is not certified by the FDA, EMA, CDSCO, or any health authority, and is not designed to diagnose, treat, or compensate for hearing loss or auditory disorders.
## 4. Prohibition of Surveillance & Wiretapping
You agree to use the application strictly for lawful purposes. You are strictly prohibited from using the app to secretly monitor, intercept, or eavesdrop on private conversations without obtaining required legal consent under applicable wiretapping and privacy statutes.
## 5. Paid Services, Billing & Subscriptions
- Premium subscriptions are optional and are processed through Google Play Billing. Google Play, rather than CIBRU, handles payment details, localized pricing, taxes, and the purchase confirmation.
- The reference plans are **$0.49/week** for `mic_sub_weekly`, **$1.49/month** for `mic_sub_monthly`, and **$14.99/year** for `mic_sub_annual`. The purchase sheet is authoritative if prices, currencies, or product availability differ.
- The weekly plan has **no free trial**. The monthly reference offer has a **3-day trial** and the annual reference offer a **7-day trial**, only when configured and offered to your account by Google Play. Trial eligibility is not guaranteed, including where the account has already used an applicable trial or introductory offer. If no trial is shown, the purchase sheet's paid price applies from purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed recurring price, including after an accepted trial, unless cancelled before the trial or current billing period ends. We recommend cancelling at least **24 hours before** the displayed end time. Google Play's renewal date and cancellation confirmation determine the actual schedule. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
- Paid ad suppression is granted only after the app receives a Google Play **PURCHASED** item and the server verification succeeds. A **PENDING** purchase does not unlock the paid entitlement. Referral rewards are tracked independently and can grant their own entitlement under the Referral Terms.
- Auto-renewal, cancellation, purchase-data deletion, and refund procedures are described in our Subscriptions and Refund Policy.
## 6. Referral Rewards Program
Eligible users can unlock free Premium ad-free access by referring genuine new users in accordance with our Referral Terms. Referral rewards have no cash value and cannot be transferred or sold.
## 7. Intellectual Property & License
CIBRU grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app. Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to derive the source code of the native C++ audio engine is prohibited.
## 8. Disclaimer of Warranties & Governing Law
The app is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind. Latency performance depends on device hardware and output protocol. These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
