Refund and Cancellation Policy – Export Chat Reader
# Subscriptions, Billing, Cancellations & Refunds
Export Chat Reader (package `com.exportchatreader.app`) · Effective October 20, 2026
> Export Chat Reader imports, reads, searches, and plays media from WhatsApp archives you select. The base reader is free and ad-supported. Optional weekly, monthly, and annual Premium subscriptions provide the same ad-removal benefit while verified access is active. Availability and trial eligibility are confirmed by Google Play; an unavailable or preview plan cannot be purchased.
## 1. Billing
Google Play processes all subscription payments. The app developer does not receive or store full payment-card or bank-account details. Prices, taxes, billing periods, renewal date, and any introductory offer are displayed by Google Play before purchase.
The standard intended USD prices below are defaults, not a guarantee of availability or a substitute for the localized Google Play checkout. Prices, currency, taxes, eligibility, and legally required notices shown at checkout control your transaction.
## 2. Three subscription plans
- **Weekly Plan — $0.49/week:** renews weekly. Billed immediately upon confirmation. **No free trial.**
- **Monthly Plan — $1.49/month:** includes a **3-Day Free Trial** for eligible subscribers when that offer is available. Unless canceled **before the 3-day trial ends**, the first monthly charge occurs at trial end, followed by **$1.49 every month** until canceled, subject to the localized price and terms confirmed at checkout.
- **Annual Plan — $14.99/year:** includes a **7-Day (1-Week) Free Trial** for eligible subscribers when that offer is available. Unless canceled **before the 7-day trial ends**, the first annual charge occurs at trial end, followed by **$14.99 every year** until canceled, subject to the localized price and terms confirmed at checkout.
Google Play manages trial eligibility. A previous subscriber or other ineligible account may instead be offered the regular paid plan, billed upon confirmation with no new trial. A pending payment does not activate Premium; a completed Google Play purchase (including an eligible trial), server verification, and acknowledgement are required.
## 3. Automatic renewal
Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the price and interval confirmed by Google Play unless canceled before renewal. Cancel before trial expiry or the next renewal to avoid the next charge. We recommend allowing at least 24 hours to complete cancellation as a precaution, not a separate Google Play cutoff. Follow the date and instructions shown in your Play account; see Google Play's subscription guidance. Deleting the app, deleting verification or referral data, clearing storage, or turning sync off does not cancel a subscription or request a refund. A local purchase-sync pause is not a pause of Google Play billing.
## 4. How to cancel
On Android: **Google Play Store > Profile Icon > Payments & Subscriptions > Subscriptions > Export Chat Reader > Cancel Subscription**. Complete Google's confirmation steps while using the purchasing Google Account. If the subscription is missing, check which Google Account made the purchase.
Online: open the Google Play Subscription Center, select Export Chat Reader, and cancel. Check Google's cancellation confirmation and access-end date. Paid access generally continues until the verified paid period ends; a trial's access end is shown by Google Play. Some regions offer immediate cancellation or other rights. Cancellation normally does not refund the current billing period, except where Google Play policy or applicable law provides otherwise. See Google Play's cancellation instructions.
## 5. Refund requests
Refund eligibility depends on timing, purchase details, Google Play policy, and applicable law. Within 48 hours of purchase, you may be able to request a refund from Google Play; this is not a guaranteed refund window. After 48 hours, contact us so we can review the request and, where appropriate, process it through Google Play. These routes do not shorten any applicable statutory period. Use the Google Play refund request flow or read Google Play's refund policy. No universal no-refunds rule applies under this policy.
## 6. Loss of access and restoration
If a transaction is refunded, charged back, canceled immediately where permitted, revoked, or found invalid, Premium access may end. Restoring a valid purchase does not create a new charge or a new trial. Restore also needs the original installation's secure key; reinstalling, clearing storage, changing devices, or legacy purchases may require support recovery. Deleting purchase verification data removes local paid access and pauses automatic verification after the local pause is saved, even if server deletion fails; only explicit Restore Purchases resumes it on that installation. It is not cancellation or a refund. Independent referral rewards do not cancel, credit, or refund paid billing.
## 7. Statutory rights
This policy does not limit refund, cancellation, warranty, or consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law. Region-specific rights may apply.
## 8. Support
For purchase problems, include the app name, plan, purchase date, and Google Play order number in the format `GPA.XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXX`. Never send purchase tokens, private keys, passwords, payment-card details, or banking PINs. Contact support@cibru.in.
